Evidently the SoCon is better than the Coastal because their co-champion beat South Carolina and the Coastal's didn't.

We deserve every bit of criticism for losing that game week 1, but that was a long time ago.

Coastal 8 - Atlantic 4.....2 games left

There's only one game left that matters. See you pansies in two weeks.

Pansies? We put up 50 on Wake. Yall looked like you struggled a bit.

We started our reserve RT, reserve RG, reserve TB, and one reserve CB. Very early in the game our starting LB left the game not to return. We won by 20, never let them get within less than 13, outgained them by 400 yards, and got 69 players in the game. Midway through the 3rd quarter we were playing around with formations so much we had our backup QB taking snaps and Watson lined up at WR. Yeah....go ahead and assume we were struggling.

You only scored 13 points after the 1st quarter. Watson played well into the 4th quarter so don't act like it was all backups.

Watson played late in the 4th because Kelly Bryant made a stupid mistake and Dabo wanted to get the one walk-on SR receiver who has never caught a pass a catch. Jordan Bianchi had one catch for six yards on our final drive.

We typically don't score many points in the second half when we have a big lead. We only scored 16 against a Miami, 14 against Wofford, 10 against Appalachian State, and 10 against GT. But I guess is tarhole logic we struggled against them too.

All of those teams you list above, you scored more points in the second half than you did today. Watson also threw 2 ints.

Am I the only one who thinks this "by-proxy d*** measuring contest" between the Clemson fan and the high-strung Tar Heel fan is not necessary...?

Step aside. We've been mired in mediocrity for almost 20 years. Let me talk a little smack to Kap.

Wrong answer.

Chill, or move thread to the smack area.

Honestly, I could give a sh*t less about some trash talking; however, start a new thread for some school on school sparring and keep this thread to talking about the games themselves. As long as those threads don't equate to personal attacks and proceed I don't care.

Again, wrong answer.

By the time the ECU fans migrated in, the threads had already been moved.

Y'all should create a Clemson/North Carolina smack-off thread and leave this thread to general game day action and crying over bad Coaching and the refs.

All four SEC East teams that have an ACC rivalry game next week played a "warm-up" game today.

-South Carolina lost to FCS Citadel
-Florida was take to overtime by 2-9 Florida Atlantic
-Georgia was taken to overtime by Georgia Southern. GSU is 7-3, although they lost to WVU 44-0.

I think Watson is going to run a lot more in the ACC title game. Coaches been trying to protect from injury all season but he's going to be unleashed in the ACC title.

UNC's QB isn't a great passer. If you shut down his running, he's goiung to struggle.

If you keep hitting him (Williams) he will fade. At least he did last year when they played State.

RE: Open Thread -- Week 12
Marquise Williams can look like a Heisman Trophy winner and the biggest bum all within the same game. The game yesterday should have never been that close. It had shades of South Carolina written all over it. Between those two games, he has 6 turnovers. Luckily we had a big enough lead on VT that he didn't blow it altogether. That was a nice pass for the TD to end it.
