Looking forward to seeing Pitt again, not sure of what to expect from the game though. Would be the Cards best win on the season & it would be nice to keep the momentum going into Lexington next weekend.

RE: Open Thread -- Week 12
So who had South Florida leading Cincinnati 51-3 at halftime? UC did turn it over five times leading to 24 points, but the USF offense was nearly perfect efficiency wise. Their 7 drives in the half ended with: TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, and FG. Mix in a pick 6 for 51 points at the half.

FSU beat USF. Miami lost to UC. Ouch!

USF is peaking impressively, UC is fading badly. I hope they fold the tent tonight as ECU gets them Friday in Greenville. It could kind of almost make a bad season a little better if the Pirates win. They are 5-6 right now.

So a RB for Air Force wins the award for unfortunate name. Timothy McVey.

I realize the spelling on the last name is different, but verbally it sounds nearly identical. The bombing was April 1995. This kid is a Soph, so I'm guessing he was born in 1996. If he was in fact born shortly after Oklahoma City, why in the world would parents with that last name saddle your kid with Timothy?

They admired the original Timothy McVey? Agreed with his "politics"?

Who knows?

It is strange in that they had to know the significance of that name, unless they lived in a cave.

I have been to the Oklahoma City bombing memorial. Very well done and impactful.

Anyone who intentionally names their kid after that lunatic (if that is what happened) also needs to visit a psychiatrist.

Congrats on the win Pitt. Our defense made you all look like the Patriots today. Absolutely a sieve D today and Pitt blew it open.

Man, I thought the game was over so I went to check the final score and you still had 11 minutes in the 3rd qtr. This game is far from over at this very moment, especially since the Ville is only down by a couple of TD's.

Evidently the SoCon is better than the Coastal because their co-champion beat South Carolina and the Coastal's didn't.

We deserve every bit of criticism for losing that game week 1, but that was a long time ago.

Coastal 8 - Atlantic 4.....2 games left
