Baloney. Each of the 3 major sites have slightly different metrics. That doesn't mean they don't all have value.

247 is likely more accurate than Rivals, for us at least. Rivals still lists only 15 commits for UAB - 4th best class in C-USA. Scout only has 5 listed - 7th best class in C-USA.

It could be though that those sites have attempted to sort out December signees from the Spring 2016 guys.

That's not what I meant. A class of 10 4* players and a class of 20 2* players are not the same thing, though if you strictly add stars they would be. Putting stock into the sheer volume of a recruiting class doesn't mean anything to me.
