Would think that would be a scheduling mess unless it coincided with some open weeks.
Also curious if someone has crunched any numbers to see what both teams records are the Saturday following Tuesday games, assuming they play a game.
USA did. This year.
TXST did last year.

We ll see if Ga State will see a jump in attendance considering the fact they are starting to play better

- The Homecoming game against Wyoming was during some of the worst rain western North Carolina has seen in years. In the past, Homecoming has drawn over 30,000 against competition as un-compelling as Elon. This year had barely over 18,000. It was bizarre.
- Our two biggest opponents fell on Thursday nights, just two weeks apart. How many grown adults with real jobs and real families and don't live within 2 hours of Boone are going to be aable to make that? Amazing we had as many as we did.
-We have another home game two days after Thanksgiving. I'm sure students will drive all the way back to Boone for that.
-Yet another problem was that we had a home game sandwiched between Georgia Southern and Arkansas State. Typically it isn't easy for fans to make it to Boone three weekends in a row if they live a ways away.
This year could have broken some records, I think, if the schedule had been set up differently and that rain hadn't happened. Oh well. I just hope that if we have two Thursday games next year, one is on the road so that we can have five Saturday home games.
Based on what I can tell, we wont have a compelling home game next year to the extent to moving it to a Thursday night. That might depend on South Alabama or Georgia State, but I think even those are a real reach. Here is to six Saturdays of football in 2016.

...says the sanctimonious fan of a school situated in the 3rd biggest US city with a 5x or more larger population than most Sun Belt schools' surrounding areas, but has less than 2x the attendance figures to show for it.
Math and the laws of proportionality tell me that you don't really understand these simple concepts...

I say we get our typical 10k. Got to win at home for people to start to take notice.

How does it feel to have a proportionally tiny stadium based on the size of your student body and city you're located in? I think Houston fans should be more concerned with getting their reputation for academics up big time before they concern themselves with SunBelt attendance.
