Soccer-wise, the state of Ohio is growing rapidly as a recruiting hotbed, so I only see us becoming better with increased success that this new staff has brought. The fact that we are extremely young in many women's sports that are already havkng success bodes very well for the future here.

When Akron can have a little soccer Dynasty, I know UC can do it if they invest in the right coach.

Akron also has the benefit of having one of the best Clubs in the nation, The Internationals, feeding them every year. Once Cincinnati gets CUP up to that level, UC could get very good very fast. Southwest Ohio already has the highest per-captia participation in youth soccer in the country.

Congratulations to Women's Soccer Team! Won AAC Championship this afternoon in a hard fought tie game. Bearcats bested USF bulls on penalty kicks 5-3.

I have to admit; I'm not much of a soccer fan but the women put on an incredible performance and deserve congratulations from Bearcat fans everywhere. They were simply tougher and showed more desire down the stretch. It was very enjoyable viewing. They had many chances to fold but just fought through it all. Go (Women's Soccer) 'Cats. Keep on winning in the NCAA...

The secondary sports are on the upswing from the last few down years, this is just the start for this team...they are hitting the recruiting trail hard and have a ton of returning starters back for at least 1 year, but most will be back 2 or 3 years.
