We were ranked in the final poll last season. There was a three way tie for the championship, though we beat one of the co champs badly at their place. You can continue to downplay the championship all you want but Memphis was a conference champion and Houston wasn't . It's that simple. Yep, you were ranked above Memphis for a few weeks in the AP (while Memphis was ranked above you in the coaches') . Now, Memphis is ranked above you in every poll; especially the one that really counts.

it was clearly a response...he made a point trying to brag about hw many weeks theyve been ranked ahead of us...and i responded actually not very many ..thats the point

and PS the ap poll is the main poll used by everyone when deciding labels... even memphis fans referred to themselves by their AP rank before the committe poll came out (even when they were lower)....

How do you figure? A fairly large percentage of us are predicting a UC loss. Losing to a ranked team won't get us overly hot and bothered, but we are a bit bothered already considering the expectations at the beginning of the year.
