It gets old seeing fans beat their chests and act obnoxious just because their school happens to be fielding a team with a good record this year - especially when your school historically has run a garbage program. Can't you guys at least act civil to others without turning into pricks?

Personally, I enjoy it when a historically poor program has a good year and their fans get to enjoy it. Temple beat my alma mater (Penn State) earlier this year, and is having a potentially historically great season. GOOD FOR TEMPLE!!!!! GOOD FOR TEMPLE FANS!!!!! I'm rooting for them to beat Notre Dame on Saturday and keep their run going.

This sport is more fun when it's schools beyond the "blue-bloods" who also get to rise up and compete at the top.

This is a straw man. There is a difference between fans who are experiencing a great season because their school broke thru a barrier, and fans who act like obnoxious pricks because their teams recently won a few games.

I see the same things from fans of schools that are in the haves with a air of snobbery towards schools in the G5 and FCS, and the same towards lower levels. You can't have a good debate before someone starts the name calling because their school should be the only one counts.
