Toledo is 7-0 against Div 1a schools.
An impressive SEC win.
A #19 ranking which may increase.
As usual the Toledo game is an NIU FB fans yearly highlight.

THe 2003/2004 Toledo victories still hurt badly.

I say this only once a year.........Tuck Foledo........That is all.

We lost at the Glass Bowl in 2003: 30-49 (NIU was ranked #21 and we went 10-2 that year.)
We lost at the Glass Bowl in 2007: 21-70
We lost at the Glass Bowl in 2009: 19-20 on a blocked point after.

Toledo is the only MAC team since 2000 that holds a winning record against NIU.

We beat Toledo for the first time in ???? years in 2005 35-17 under Garett Wolfe.
We beat Toledo in 2008 and 2010,11,12,13,14.
So since 2000 Toledo is 8-7 against NIU.
Maybe NIU can even the series, and you will finally recognize us as a rivalry.

The road to Detroit runs through Toledo, unless Toledo loses to Central Michigan.

Toledo is not our rival. They are our whipping boy.

It will take many years to catch-up to Toledo, between 1989 and 2005, Toledo had a winning streak of 15 games against NIU.

Point spread? I would open line at Toledo - 7. Trying to get NIU money.

NIU rivalries:
#1 Toledo 5-0 in the last 5 years.
#2 CMU 2-3 in the last 5 years.

Whenever NIU beats Toledo , we usually goto Detroit!
