Texas teen arrested for homemade clock to move to Qatar
Good!
"A 14-year-old Muslim boy who was arrested after a homemade clock he brought to school was mistaken for a possible bomb will be moving with his family to the Middle East so he can attend school there, his family said Tuesday."
"He also visited with the president of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir, which has prompted some criticism because al-Bashir is wanted by International Criminal Court on charges of genocide and war crimes for atrocities linked to the Darfur fighting."

It's insane to me to see so many grown men poke fun at a 14 year old boy, for whatever reason. Some of you really need to reevaluate some sh*t in your lives.

Not making fun of the dude, it's just a shame to see someone rewarded for a falsehood. I mean, it's like the dude is trying to be a politician. I personally don't care where the dude lives.

What falsehood? And what reward?
And for what it's worth, I wasn't really referring to you, moreso our other mental midgets.

So you are saying that he did in fact invent a clock? Also, I guess a free trip to Facebook, Microsoft and all of those gifts he has been getting are not rewards?

No, I think he was a 14 year old who took apart a clock and was proud that he did so, and mistakenly called it an invention like many kids that age would do. And you're sort of missing the point here, the only reward he wanted was the approval of his engineering teacher. Instead he was arrested, and illegally held and questioned by the police. The fact his story garnered such attention was after the fact, and to act as if it was some sort of reward is ludicrous.
Like I said, you're a grown man on the internet making fun of a 14 year old kid because he called something he fiddled with an 'invention'. It's pathetic, on so many different levels, and I truly pity you.

Even if he made a "mistake" he shouldn't be rewarded for it. This is like a participation trophy times a thousand. Have to give it to his father though for milking it for all it's worth.

Are you implying he's getting this attention because of the clock?
