With Maddie undergoing surgery and Drew Hare being banged up, Ryan G. may be forced into action. Does anyone think any ofthe 3 true freshmen Qb's will be getting some scout team reps or even get in some game action if we sustain any more injuries at the QB position? Scary thoughts, I know!

I would imagine they'll be getting one of the true freshmen ready if Maddie is out for an extended period of time.

Pretty sure I saw 16 or 18 suited up on the sidelines calling in the plays.

Santacaterina was not dressed at either of the two fall camp practices I attended so I don't know if he would be a candidate.

Off topic, but would love to see Turner get a couple of direct snaps in the wildcat. With him being a former RB I'm sure he would see some gaps back there with running room and would spare Hare taking a beating on some plays. Needs to get more touches.

Can anyone on this board play QB? We're taking volunteers.

I have already volunteered for center. I know I can get the ball to the QB at his waist.

We could use some other big bruisers who can move on the O-line. I know some of you are quite corpulent, and with me at center, I know what I can do to get you to move.

Go check over behind Anderson......pretty sure they got some good QBs over there playing flag!! I've seen some pretty decent ones there back in my time there.

Yes, they've had nice, over-the-top, 10 o'clock, release points. Very mobile....look to throw before tucking it in and running.....and we are talking about less than a second to throw too because they ALWAYS blitz!

If that's the case I hope NIU blows the doors off balls so graham can get in there for a good amount of snaps.

thats too bad. Not a Maddie fan, but he looks like Lynch when compared to a young graham. Very hard to keep back up QBs, they want to play. Could really use Macintosh.

With the lack of depth we have at QB right now, I think the staff is going to get Tommy Mister every chance of playing QB first (this offseason) and if it doesn't pan out hes athletic enough to switch positions.
