thats too bad. Not a Maddie fan, but he looks like Lynch when compared to a young graham. Very hard to keep back up QBs, they want to play. Could really use Macintosh.

Yep!
Did we ever figure out what happened to Mcintosh? How did he go from starting QB to alleged backup safety in a week?

He wanted to play and transferred to a D2. Its hard for a kid to backup

McIntosh is at SIU and played in the 3 games. He is not their starter. He's rushed for 111 yards and a TD and passed once for 4 yards.

I'm in. He's more of a threat than TLL.

Re: McIntosh -- Thanks, I know he transferred.
But do we know why the coaches decided that one week he was good enough to be the starter and then the next week he was allegedly a safety never to be heard from in a Huskie uniform again?

Sure would have been nice to have him around.

If Hare can't play, I would lose out and hope for the #1 pick.

That is rather odd, isn't it? I never figured that one out.

LOL! Looks like it. I mean Iannotti is doing pretty well this year averaging just over 350 from scrimmage. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I don't follow the MAC as closely as I can, but wasn't there an Iannotti on EMU a few years ago? Might he be the same? RE: Back up QB's?
Wanna bet McIntosh and NIU (pretending they could have helped him to stay) would revisit their decision now?

From what I saw of Mc....He was not terribly impressive AND/BUT could help win them games this year. Right now.

He is a freshman and deserves all the patience one can lend, but pretending I have 0 patience, I am going to make a huge guess and predict that there is not a team on our schedule that NIU will beat with Graham at QB. And, when he gets hurt...who plays then? I would hate to burn a red-shirt on a promising QB...if we have one.

The prospects for this season get frightening.

How the world changes in short order. 2-0 and down 7 v. #1 OSU in the 4th quarter....with the ball.

Now this.

Just an FYI, I've heard nothing that suggests Hare won't play Saturday.

I will e-mail you a form. All you need to do is sign it with an X. Let me know if you need help.

Back in '84, I could throw a football a quarter mile

Okay, I'll send you a form, too. You'll have to compete with NIU007 for starting QB. Should be interesting.
Better stock up with steak for him.

McIntosh had a leg injury last year that made it hard for him to throw the ball. He missed several games rehabbing the injury and during that time Hare seized the job.

Yes. Played HS ball in Schaumburg and played at EMU for a year or 2 before finding his way to SIU.

Safe to say we might see a JC quarterback this year in our recruiting class. Might need someone more game ready then Graham and the freshman.
