We'll leave Iowa State and Kansas for the Big 10.

ACC North: Boston College, Louisville, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech

ACC South: Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, N.C. State, Virginia

ACC West: Florida State, Miami, Oklahoma State, Texas, T.C.U., Texas Tech

***Wake Forest is independent in football playing 6 ACC games and a full member in everything else.

SEC East: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia
SEC South: Alabama, Auburn, Louisiana State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt
SEC West: Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas A&M

The things I would change are: Wake Forest wouldn't be demoted because Notre Dame is too stubborn to give up independence. Then the Oklahoma schools go together because that'd be a price the SEC pays to get the Sooners. Baylor fits better with the other private schools in the ACC.

I would like to see if Wake Forest could be swapped to the SEC and West Virginia goes to the ACC. Wake, while small, gives the SEC some exposure in NC while giving it some academic credibility.

You were doing just fine until the thing about moving Wake Forest.
One of the things that I think JR was trying to solve with Wake being a partial member; (of the ACC) was that Wake could play every P5 school that they cared about playing and still have the ability to schedule the remainder of their games with teams that played on a level at which Wake could be competitive and still maintain a high level of attendance.

I doubt though that the ACC would give them a full share of revenue at that point. How long would Wake survive as a P5 football program without ACC football money? I just don't see it.

I thought more about this and it occurred to me that ESPN would want to divide the markets a little more when it came to splitting the Big 12 up. So you may be right about OSU.

What if ESPN moves one of these leagues to 20 though to capitalize on all the available markets?

ACC gets Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Iowa State

The ACC gets 4 new markets, 3 more AAU schools, several quality basketball programs, and several quality football programs.

ACC West: Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas
ACC North: Iowa State, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Boston College
ACC Mid-Atlantic: Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest
ACC South: Florida State, Miami, Georgia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina State

SEC gets Oklahoma, Baylor, Kansas State, and West Virginia

The SEC gets 3 new markets and mostly football brands

I doubt there are many teams that could survive in the P5 without a full share of revenue from which ever conference they are a member of.
