Congrats on the win today. Y'all controlled the line of scrimmage and dominated especially in the 2nd half.

Talked with a number of your fans today. Good classy people.

I hope the player that was injured in the 4th quarter has a speedy recovery. Never good to see someone stay down that long and then carted out.

Question for y'all: why are y'all starting Kemp when Summers is quite clearly better at moving the offense?

Got to give mad props to your QB Davis giving Jimmy Williams best wishes after getting hurt. Class Act.

I think most of us thought Summers should start today. The debate is now over. Summers only qualified and made it to camp literally a week before the season started. He was going to be a WR, then Kurt Benkert tore his ACL.

Summers was an all everything QB in NC. He had offers from everywhere, the dude is legit, but plenty still didn't think he was a QB but rather an athlete.

Just saw in Facebook that jimmy Williams will miss a few weeks. Could have been a lot worse.

All the best to SMU. I think your new coach will have you bowling in the next couple of years. Beautiful stadium. You need to get your fans to step up and fill that place. The fan support over the years when we've played there has been pathetic.

I work with and know many ECU fans and agree that they are a class bunch. I've respected their football program long before they joined the Big East/AAC. Love it when they beat one of the ACC schools in particular from the NC triangle and it shuts the pie holes of those cocky fans. Good luck the rest of the way and our teams play November 28th - the last on the schedule.

I had fun with the ECU fans. Girl sitting with her husband next to me and I chatted and it turns out my neighbor was her roommate in college

Thanks and totally agree. Being an SMU fan is a rough existence (consider the past 8 days - losing to James Madison, the NCAA infraction in basketball, and getting blown out today - and multiply that by infinity to approximate what those of us that are still around go through), which is why our fan support is awful. Got to win consistently to get the new generation coming to games.

To the others - good to hear that the player will be OK. Here's to a speedy recovery.
And y'all will do very well with Summers. He's a great player.

SMU reminds me of ECU when Ruff first arrived. All offense and absolutely no defense. Your coach is really good and he will get that fixed.

As for Summers he was a 4*; #8 rated dual threat quarterback in the Country out of high school. So he has plenty of talent, but like others have said he just got in the school a month ago; so he doesn't know all of the plays yet. ECU's starting quarterback (Benkurt) blew his knee out in camp so the back up Kemp was promoted to starter. It only takes a few seconds to look at the high school and JUCO tape on Summers to see that he is really talented.

I like the way you think bb! However, my Cats need to show more consistency first and hopefully the win over the Canes will help do just that. Time will tell...

Depends on your point of view. I thought ECU had a really nice visit.

I do think the game is going to be tough. But it certainly isn't impossible for Temple to win the game down there.
