Iowa State isn't any good. Memphis and Temples wins over Cincy are more impressive.

The biggest if being "if the team with the best OOC wins go on to win the conference". With NUI losing to CMU, I think that "if" is stronger for the MAC than the AAC ... too many "still to play"s in the AAC OOC resumes that can go south while the team goes ahead to win the conference.

We've played a lot better recently now that Rypien is the QB instead of Finley.

App State of course, but unlikely even if they can pull off 11-1

It should go to whoever makes it out of that failed power conference known as the AAC. They will likely be the best team but I wonder if any of them will survive with an impressive enough record to get the call. I suspect Boise and Toledo are the favorites in the end.

That's what I think, too. Boise is already ranked ahead of all 4 undefeated AAC teams in one ranking or another, even with one loss. What could trip them and Toledo up, though, will be if the CFP SC puts a big emphasis on SOS again this year. That would help the AAC champ, if it's one of the 4 undefeateds, who finish out well.

I root for ECU pretty much every year. Who else schedules 3 or 4 P5 teams a year OOC?

I mean obviously I'm hoping for the outside shot that ECU could finish 11-2 and get it, but past that I'm rooting for Navy. Of course we'll pretty much know after this week if they really have a shot or not. If they can beat Notre Dame they'll vault to the top of the race and if not it will probably be hard for them to compete for it baring a lot of losses.
