Your pedantic correction doesn't change my comment.

If she was commenting on specific provisions of the bill, that's even worse. Those provisions are written down, right? Why would 'she' have to pass it in order for 'us' to be able to read it? That doesn't even make sense... unless you're telling me that she was refusing to let 'us' read the actual bill until she passed it. If so, that's probably grounds for impeachment.
