Shep also talked quite a bit about the EMU-LSU game experience on his WDFN morning show and even gave Darius Jackson some well deserved love, mentioning him as someone who has a good chance to make an NFL roster next year--something I agree 100% with.

That is inexcusable and it really sucks because Matt Shepard and Rob Rubick do a hell of a job. I listened to the entire game driving from Michigan to Iowa and was thoroughly entertained.

Bob - you're absolutely correct. Hell - the Grand Valley games are on Detroit 1130 on Saturdays, with a complete pre- and post-game broadcast.

You would think a D1 school could produce a complete broadcast package, but I'm sure the budget for that is $0.00

Other than announcing that EMU football is coming up, I NEVER hear WEMU touting Eastern Michigan University athletics! I don't get that at all. Kinda seems like they are jealous of the athletic department. If I was the AD, that would be my first order of business, PROMOTE OUR PROGRAMS, we get enough apathy from the outside media sources.

Agreed. He looks like a complete back. Could even get drafted if he finishes the season as strong as he started and shows well at the combine. Gotta cure that fumblitis that rears it's ugly head from time to time, but he has all the tools to play in the League.
