RE: Ohio vs Minnesota
While I personally think that delay of game penalty on the 'Cats at the end of the 4th quarter last Saturday was bogus, I think the game highlighted the potential of this team to make it back to the top tier of the MAC standings once again. A win over the B1G would have been nice, but it's nice to see them putting up points against one of the tougher defenses in the nation. Looking forward to #MACtion

Did the B1G ever issue a statement concerning this perceived overreach by the ref?

no statement issued but the head of officials did meet with Solich privately to discuss it. Frank was light on details and only said that they explained that it was a valid call according to the rules. I'm guessing Frank let them know that its still a bullsh*t call and they're wrong for stepping in and affecting the outcome of a game.

A kicker has got to kick that ball. Where the opposing team is using timeouts to ice a kicker, that should never be called. Ever. The only time I could see it called, is if the kicking team called the timeout, and there was ample time to stop the kick.

But then again, how much time must pass? 1 second? 2? What does the rule say?
