I think we were overrating this team. Hare isn't much of a QB and this coaching staff doesn't know when to call a play. 3rd and 1 and we throw to the endzone? 3 and 15 and we run? I've seen better play calls from my 8 year old cousin playing Madden.

People wonder why fans don't show up for this team.....Well when NIU can't beat mediocre BCS teams and 80% of the schedule is crappy MAC teams it is just not worth it. I've been a fan for over a decade, but I can't pay and watch NIU face EMU and CMU anymore. I'm sure some of you diehards can, but I most certainly will not.

Hare is last guy that should be getting called out on offense. The WRs probably dropped 10 balls, Golladay fumbled, each offensive lineman had at least one false start, the running game was non-existent again, and NIU is running one deep at RB (although Marshawn Lynch couldn't break loose with how poor the line is playing).

This was probably the biggest non-conf game NIU has played in a very very long time, I think everyone is just a little on edge including myself. We shot ourselves in the foot a lot, that is just hard to swallow. If you are not fired up after this, then I would question someone's fandom.

I question your sense of rationality. It's ok to be upset. But here's the deal..NIU is going to lose a few games. You can jump of the deep end like a freak and blame everyone. Or just understand sports veries week to week. It's fine to be upset. But accept a loss as a loss. Not some "could have been" like your team can play a perfect game every week.
