College QB's have to stop acting like they have NFL protection. Gunner slid and got caught with a dirty hit that most defensive coordinators would slap you on the back for. In the NFL, you lose a few paychecks for that. In college, you get to go to the sideline and hope the NFL scouts saw what you just did, or just stay in the game if you are playing at home.

Memphis got some bad calls, too. When it happens should not give it more gravity.

Amen to this. The officiating was horrible last night. 20 penalties for 201 yards...unreal.

When it comes to UC, never let the refs dictate the outcome. Take care of business. No reason to loss a game where you score over 40 and have over 700 yrds of offense.

Not to be at his defense but the view I saw on the big screen at the LB looked like he had the ball in his possession as his whole body was on the ground. I didn't see the play happen realtime and the pictures I've seen since really make me scratch my head...but when they showed the replay on the screen it looked like he was down.

When yer (yore, your, you're) team gives up 752 yards of offense, can you be proud?

Memphis won the game. Before the game I thought they were the better team and picked them to win.

However, their defense looks even worse than UC's - and that's saying something.

Memphis won because of a combination of wacky events, not necessarily because they were the "best team".

Well, we are 0-2 so far in 2015 for games with whacky events and the better team losing. Perhaps we are due to beat a better team after whacky plays.

Not here to argue or support people who are flaming, but you might not have been to the LB in a while. It has the 15th largest video board in college football at 98 x 48. 4700 square feet of video board. It's pretty nice.

They have spent millions on the LB and the surrounding area in the last few years.

The shot they showed on the board was from a different angle that the one on the broadcast.

I think its very telling, the amount of Memphis posters coming over to stir things up. That University and especially its athletic department have always bern complete trash. Dana Kirk, Larry Finch, Calipari, brawl in the Miami bowl. What can you expect from a glorified community college.

Right, they must have showed the angle from the perspective of the Memphis officiating crew as opposed to the angle of sane individuals.

I offered current information to correct the misconception that the liberty bowl has terrible scoreboard, which is apparently the ultimate insult and the sign of pure trash. At least now I know for next time.

Don't waste your time with this bunch, U of Elvis.

As they've stated numerous times, they have HD tv (a whopping 56" to 65") which is far superior to a 4700ft^2 video board.

There are no other angles for as they've stated the two angles shown by espn is the end all be all.

360 degrees, which yields a multitude of angles, is only applicable with Super Mario 64 to them....

Ironic post of the day, in light of how many times you've "contributed" to this thread.
