Now about that clear offsides and other infractions you guys got away with....

The best team won. Period.

Your as dumb as the school you root for, there are no other angles you moron.

He thinks the terrible liberty bowl scoreboard has a better view than an HD tv 03-lmfao

Not here to argue or support people who are flaming, but you might not have been to the LB in a while. It has the 15th largest video board in college football at 98 x 48. 4700 square feet of video board. It's pretty nice.

They have spent millions on the LB and the surrounding area in the last few years.

The shot they showed on the board was from a different angle that the one on the broadcast.

Oh, I see. You came here for an argument. I'm sorry, this is the abuse thread.

Stop turning the damn ball over, and maybe score a TD (as opposed to a FG, or a blocked FG) once in awhile on a red zone possession, and maybe the game doesn't come down to a blown call.

Memphis got some bad calls, too. When it happens should not give it more gravity.

These posts exhibit wisdom, gentlemen, and in some cases humility. There are far bigger issues with our team than one call made by the refs in one moment of one game. Year three and we are what we are...unable to win a big game when it counts.

We need to move on because until we do, we fan the flames for others to keep mouthing and not let the embers die.

I don't know about anyone else in Bearcat Nation, but I want to win a big, key game and for this coaching staff and players to show they can get it done. Well guess what, they have another chance next Thursday against an ACC foe in a prime time televised audience. A win doesn't save the season for me but it would go a heckuva long way in giving me some hope and confidence instead of disappointment, frustration and cynicism.

Unfortunately, this horrendous defensive play will allow teams to score and keep games close against UC where a turnover, refs calls, etc. will determine outcomes of games. I just can't figure out what is worse when it comes to the defense : recruiting, schemes, poor coaching, we know poor tackling technique is big. Just pitiful.

RE: We haven't been screwed by the refs that badly since Illinois
Best view of the fumble is on Downthedrive website - the view ESPN put up is crap, and most likely the one shown on their scoreboard and replay booth. Since I didn't watch the game, I did view the videos on ESPN gamecast, and that view it was questionable.

This game wasn't decided on crap refs or one call - more like crap defense and kicking field goals instead of touchdowns. But the play in question, and the timing in the game, it did help Memphis to a great extreme. Sadly, this isn't first or last time these things will happen. UC needs to be in a position where if they do happen, it doesn't effect the outcome of the game in a negative way for them.

You do realize that the replay network and the ESPN cameras are not connected right? Sometimes in basketball a direct ESPN feed is used for lower tier games, but have you ever noticed unmarked guys walking around with cameras all over the court? Those are stadium/arena replay guys. The same thing happens in football. Traditionally when people were in conferences with untelevised games those feeds would be sold as a part of a team network sold by the school. That is the feed that the replay crew sees because there are far more camera angles than the few that ESPN brings.

Yes, but the view from ESPN was clear that the Memphis player was not down before the ball started to come out. Other views may not be as clear, but definitely no other view could show something that did not happen, which would have been needed to overturn the call on the field.

Do they do any sort of weekly evaluation of referees? It would be nice if they had some of the higher ups sit down at the end of the week to evaluate the incorrect calls that occures in each game. Then maybe hold the refs accountable by requiring them to keep their numbers up to a certain standard.

Must be some massive espn conspiracy against Tiger High. There are a lot of things I do not understand in this world - how you can overturn that call and why Tiger High fans feel the need to try and convince us it was a good call. Maybe Tiger High has a major in officiating?

Why does the system block out T i g e r H i g h?

See you next season.

I guess you all forget the legit fumble yall had that we recovered that the officials did not allow.
Think of the one against you as a makeup call. It happens all the time in sports. I'm not saying its RIGHT...but it happens. Mostly against Memphis tho.....like a couple of years ago against UCF. They targeted our player on a kickoff....no call.

The Morrison fumble was whistled dead with no immediate recovery. A mistake. Your fumble was intentionally reversed despite the evidence. On purpose.

You're still making excuses and flailing, because you know you got the cheat and you're wracked with guilt and shame to the point where you're sitting alone in a dark closet repeatedly punching yourself in the genitals while crying and listening to Anne Murray's greatest hits on repeat. Other than that, you're cool.

Memphis fans are the worst. They have such a distorted view of their program/school it's kind of scary.

It'll be great when they get left behind again.
