While dating my Yankee wife, she ordered a soda. I did not know what the heck she meant and neither did our perplexed waitress. She served her soda water. 03-confused

My favorite drink at ballparks, when I was a wee one, was the "suicide". They just added a little bit of everything. Later, I ran into the Silky's Diver. Much more potent.

I remember drinking the Diver, but my recollections disappeared afterwards. Brain cells forever gone.....

Once, on Madison Ave, a friend and I bought a half pint of 151. Poored it into the Diver. My first blackout.

So, as a kid I attended summer camp until I was 17; best times of my life. That last year my best friend and I smuggled a pint of 151 in with our stuff. We went on a 3 day hike to Fall Creek Falls, and it rained for the first 36 hours. We were freezing. Nobody could get a fire started...except for us. Some of that stuff in a cup dried out enough wood to get a fire started, and if the counselors noticed the telltale blue flame, they didn't say anything, they just borrowed some embers.
