Just as an aside, not intended to address any of the previous comments or opinions expressed... nor am I intending this solely for you...

But there is a difference between attacking coaches, play calls or team skills and attacking posters.

The whole idea of 'dropping it if someone else will' is simple. One can't credibly argue with themselves... so whether the other poster 'drops it' or not, all one has to do is stop replying.

There's also the ignore button.

They're planning what it seems most schools have done, or are planning to do, including us. It seems a bit clumsy with the light pole, but maybe there's something I don't know about the rules on light poles up against the field like that? That's certainly possible If that WERE the case, I think I'd move the whole building down a few feet, but maybe they can't.

It's a bit like Tal's hill and the pole there, except out of play ... which defeats the only interesting part of Tal's hill. If Tal's hill were behind the wall, who would care?

LED lighting for athletic fields seems like a no-brainer. It's easier to focus the light, plenty of lumens and it lasts and lasts.
