Totally. We have so many small time breweries doing great stuff, that's considered commercial.

GSU 40, WMU 17 (6:32): Following the Broncos' touchdown drive the Eagles went yards in plays and LA Ramsby capped the drive off with a 1-yard dive.
Not trying to nit pick, but this is still up this morning on m-live. Even in this day and age of get it on yesterday, one would think that as soon as you post something, you would read it. Or maybe it is just poetic...yards in plays..yards in plays...all night they went yards in plays.

Wait a minute. We've been told repeatedly that he's changed the culture, and now you're saying it's the same ol same ol?
You boat rowers are jumping ship like its the Titanic.
I'd be ashamed to share an oar with these fair weather rowers.
But the good news is he won't be leaving us this year. He's committed, as he is with everything in his life.
A few more Performances like this and he will never leave, there will be no where to go!

Pressure is on this group to win big IMHO.
Yep. Played NIU this week then us. Should be able to take something away from those outcomes.
Our size advantage alone should make this result a mail in victory.
don't say that we tried a mail in victory on Saturday night we can't do it

Since becoming highest paid coach in MAC Fleck is 0-3.
Nice ROI so far.
Wins over Bill Murray and Bono U2 in next month will help.

Bowl game against Air Force, host #5 MSU, and go on the road against Sun Belt champs.
Please.
It's a multi-year contract. But you know that.

He was given a raise to win those, especially the Sun Belt Champs who got pasted by WVU last week, not to pay and have you troll the boards making excuses. People here are being kind, m-live's comments are brutally honest.

Is it 800 a year for 5 years? or is there only two years left on the contract.

Now you're just being mean....
We should have beaten Air Force as well. He should be 2-1 since the raise, not 0-3.

RE: The wind is out of the sail
Can't win 'em all, of course. But there comes a time - really soon, I hope - that we start stealing games from the Air Forces, GSUs, NIUs and Toledos of the world. Might as well throw in last year's Purdue too. It's a signal that we've moved up a little notch. After a while, and certainly with the hype and expectation, one would hope we'd find light beyond beating up some MAC East teams and winning the Michigan MAC trophy once in a while.
Could happen still this year and I know we should avoid reading too much in one game. But last night's performance in all phases was troubling. And several of our MAC opponents looked pretty good against formidable competition yesterday.

Exactly Motown....When does WMU begin to move into the upper echelon,,,,,GSU was the time to take the first step and WMU tripped.
The natives are restless, lots of hype and expectation not just fostered locally but in national articles, on sport shows etc.....the exposure is nice but need to deliver and the product last night fell real short. One game yes but concerning because at some point WMU needs to show that its can get where it said it wants to go. cmu and bgsu are looking to be challenges. If we are so beat up and the reason is because we get the crap beat out of us by upper level P5 schools then is it worth it to take those games if this is the result. Having just said that it seems Toledo and NI handle it and still reach their goals. Not sure where the answer lies.

RE: The wind is out of the sail
Most reasonable people looked at this year's schedule and knew it simply wasn't happening this year. That's not to say it still can't... we haven't even started MAC play yet. But we still have a long ways to go to get there IMO.
Toledo and NIU have been at the upper echelon of the MAC for many years now. They didn't get there overnight. And some would argue Toledo hasn't really gotten there yet either.
Our time will come. I'm still firmly convinced we are on the right path.

That game yesterday was a BIG STEP backwards. "Firmly convinced we're on the right path".
