So they have us 10 from the bottom, and there are 3 other SBC teams between us and the bottom including last place GaSt. It's official, our conference still is getting zero respect, and this past weekend we didn't earn any.

Almost everyone has a real chance to enhance their reputation this week.

Either NMSU or Ga State will have a FBS win, and just to make sure we are not their first let GaSt get that one now.

I know that we looked bad in our loss to Florida State, but #98 behind Charlotte? I think we would beat Charlotte on their field, on our field and on a neutral field. Georgia Southern loses by 44 and they are #65. Arkansas State loses by 49 and they are #72. We lose by 43 and are #98? Just another worthless poll...

How the hell did we not drop? I realize it was a quality opponent on the road, but we got beat like a rented mule.

The expectation was a big loss. That's what happened. Even in the statistical models, we only dropped a few spots. If they accounted for our fan expectations, we would have dropped 30 spots.

I think most people are underestimating Charlotte. With that said, Charlotte has no business being ranked higher than about 120. If we struggle against Presbyterian, we should be ranked 127.

I expect to break the top 50 next week.

Trust me, no one is overestimating them. We turned the ball over 5 times and still won. That won't cut it going forward.

I imagine most people didn't take too much off for us losing to USC in LA. That being said, Charlotte where they are is ridiculous. They are barely better than Georgia State...they just get a high ranking because they opened with Georgia State while the rest of us played P5 schools on the road.

Well, I would hope to go up more than 16 spots after beating Clemson.

If anyone wants to ever have a realistic shot of making a really good bowl, we have to cut Idaho and NMSU off, or they have to get much better. They are killing our strength of schedule and are providing no benefit to this conference that I see. Their TV market doesn't care about SunBelt, I don't think anyone recruits that area. If the 12 team requirement to have a championship game is lifted, why in the world would we keep them?

And we have more interest in our conference from teams outside of our conference on this board than fans of NMSU and Idaho...
