Not much to like about having to be at work at 7am, but the traffic is minimal. I can do Canada Rd to Whitten in 10 minutes. Sometimes, I go weeks at a time without ever seeing the flyover or 240 loop. Then I get to head back east at 4- 4:30 before the heavy traffic hits at 5. Afternoon commute is 10-15 minutes tops.

The 20mm for this phase was raised privately from the Hyde family foundation

Of the $70 million goal, more than $60 million was raised privately. State of Tennessee contributed $5 million, Shelby County contributed $3 million from the CIP budget and the City of Memphis contributed $150,000 to create filtration wetlands that will help reduce stormwater pollution.

There was also a federal grant despite what the website says - it was used to reroute Trails and other things.

I can't understand why the Lake is not finished, it's been about a year I think. I think it will be one of the best Parks in the USA. I hope so. I live very near there.

To the OP ,we need another road in and out of the park, it's already there. What we need is another road that follows the Wolf river.
