Maybe like how the Memphis - Arkansas series was not good for Arkansas when we beat them twice or how the UT - Memphis series was not good for UT when they were supposed to come here during Deangelo's junior season.

Not surprising. I'm not sure the Tigers have anything to gain by playing them. It was good in the day, but that day is gone. Its a new day.

Why not a neutral site game? Call it the annual "Old Metro Classic." Play at Bridgestone once a year. Split the ticket allotment. However, with a basketball capacity of 19k+, filling it up may be the problem. It's just under 3 hours for L'ville. Just over 3 hours for Memphis. Would be great for regional alums of both schools.

Heck if our football program continues to rise, let's play 'em at Nissan Stadium every year in football.

Sad, but true. I can't imagine there was a more fierce rivalry in the county in the 70's and 80's.

They aren't on the football schedule. BB was supposed to be this year, but moved back to 2017 at the request of UL.

F 'em. I hope their FB program gets mired in the bottom of the ACC. Some of their fans acted like they were gonna walk in and dominate the conference. Miami has been in the ACC for 12 years now and the 'Canes still haven't won a conference title. Hope the same for these turds.

If we were in the Big 12 the rivalry and playing Memphis yearly becomes "Good" for Louisville again.

The program needs to be in better shape to have the television appeal Louisville would be looking for. They didn't schedule us for old times sake.

Maybe we should actually win some relevant games before we shine about schools not wanting to play us.

They're just skerd. Losing to Memphis and Kentucky in the same season wouldn't sit well with their fans.
