That thing is HUGE
Looks very much like the Kroger placed near Ohio State's campus as well. That'll be a VERY welcome addition to the community.

I'm not familiar with the Kroger near OSU's campus (live in Columbus now), but still fairly new to the area. This grocery concept reminds me of the Giant Eagle in Grandview (3rd avenue?), which is super nice.

But, congrats to you guys
At least the Dillon's (KS version of Kroger) has a Murray's in it.
I'm sorry you're in Kansas - Wichita no less.
During my visit many years ago, I thought Lawrence and Manhattan were nice. The people were friendly, but I thought it was funny that no matter where I went I was asked, "Do you hunt?"
I was pleasantly surprised with Kansas City - but only the part in Missouri.
it depends upon your interests, but i love kansas. the lady and i are sucker for prairies and college towns and frontier towns and miles upon miles where there ain't sh!t
Don't get me wrong, I do like it (not enough to retire here, but I like it). I just get irritated at a lot of its aspects, as the example I posted.
It also does not sit well that there are about 20 C&W stations here, one alternative, and NO classical stations. But, I have just learned to giggle about it instead.

You deserve sympathy. When I think of KS I think of endless nothing to cross to get to CO. I also think of Truman Capote's "non fiction novel", In Cold Blood.

At least that didn't happen in Wichita. Neither did the Westboro Baptist Church...
