Would other schools have kicked off Butler, Grooms and now Louis - our leading returning receiver? Some would have, but I bet most coaches would have kept all three in the name of winning. That's why I like Holliday. He runs a clean and solid program.

And yes, it is entertainment but those kids are also students - and many are damn smart. Chad Pennington was a Rhodes Scholar finalist - as an example.

now some other western fan might have had an issue. i didn't. i realize what football is. i have no illusion it's played by choir boys. leon allen didn't choke his girlfriend for weed money. if leon allen had choked his girlfriend for weed money i'd probably understand why brohm would kick him off. but he didn't.

Did you not make a comment about Doc building a monastery in Huntington? Implying that MU fans tend to look the other way when we supposedly recruit kids of "questionable character"? If that isn't a slap, limp wristed maybe, but it's a slap.

I tell you what. WKU may just win the league this year - they should, they have the horses. But lets see if they can continue that. That, I highly doubt. Marshall should actually be better in 2016 than 2015.

Well, there's 14-0. Actually, we've gone 13-0 before, even 15-0 for that matter. For that matter, we have won double digit games in 15 of the last 28 years. The whole rest of the conference combined has 14 double digit win seasons in the last 28 years.

I'm digging this, reminds me of the MAC days. Everyone is hating and we'll just keep on winning. *

* I exclude Rice, USM, & UTEP fans from my negative comments out of respect for those programs. I also exclude ODU fans as I think they have been realistic for the most part as have UTSA fans after their initial bout of unrealistic expectations. Additionally, I'm fairly neutral on FAU, Charlotte, and Middle.

that * leaves out Tech, UNT, UAB, and FIU other than UAB, the other three teams may only play a combine of less than 10 times against Marshall in the history of the game. We don't even play you that often to hate you. It sounds you hate us more with your comment :) lol

I don't hate La Tech, but the excuse train from some of your fans after the championship game last year kind of turned me off to you guys. I'm glad you're in the conference, you bring a lot to the table.
