NoVa/DC/Maryland Area Huskies
Any fellow Huskies in the Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland area that would like to get together for NIU football games this upcoming season?

I will be going to the season opener on Sept 5 but will be in the area for the rest of the season. Haven't decided if i want to travel up to Buffalo or Boston College yet.

Let me know. I am willing to host at my house.

I put up a similar post for L.A.. We both have 100+ views and no takers.

Fly out to Los Angeles and watch the games at my house if you want 03-wink

The board is kind of quiet right now. I suggest you bump this post up once the season starts or almost starts when more people are on here.
Hopefully you get some takers and so does filmmaker.

I lived in San Diego the last 3 years before moving out DC area and found a good contingent of Huskies in SD area. We did watch parties often. I know there was an alumni association that would have watch parties in LA area.

I live in the Northern VA/DC area and would be interested in a watch party. I'm also traveling to DeKalb to see the home opener. Could link up with you then.

Hello, I saw your post and was interested in a watch party since I live in Springfield, VA. I'll also be at the home opener and we could link up then. There's a decent number of NIU alum in the DC area.

I am out in Purcellviile. I am going to be in DeKalb as well for the opener. It would be great to connect with those of you that will be in Dekalb that weekend.

I'll be at the first game and tailgating in the K lot. I can post my exact location if any DC Huskies are at the game and want to discuss future watch parties.

I will actually be working for another area sports team at game time, so unfortunately, I'm going to have to take a rain check on this one - and watch on ESPN3 late Saturday night! Going to OSU, but many other games are possibilities - Keep me in the loop, and maybe one of these Saturdays we can do a DC area bar takeover for a game!04-rock04-rock04-rock

Would love to, but wife had our baby a few days early and I'll still be at the hospital during the game...Inova Fairfax's wifi is sketchy, it better be in good shape tomorrow! Definitely still down for all of us catching a game together somewhere this season.

I decided at the last minute to attend this week's game. Went to the opener but had some family issues arise. I'm up for meeting for the OSU game.

We'll have to do a lot of drinking for that game. I'm not even sure I want to see my beloved alma mater get beat so badly. They took Virginia Tech to the woodshed and that was with a bunch of their players suspended.
