Hey, those Big Ten schools have to find SOME way to spend those mega dollars!

Here's a nice payday lineup:

$$$$$$ UConn @ Rutgers $$$$$$
$$$$$$ Navy @ Maryland $$$$$$
$$$$$ Temple @ Penn State $$$$
$$$$ Cincinnati @ Ohio State $$$$
$$$$$$ Memphis @ Illinois $$$$$$
$$$$$$ Tulsa @ Nebraska $$$$$$

UC isn't looking for a payday.

We play 2-3 decent ones as conference games so what the heck.

Translation

Enough with the weak FCS scheduling and instead man up to FBS only.

Scheduling OCC for G5 schools will steadily get harder. Surprise they didn't count Army as a power school.

The one positive is as schedule keeps getting harder, a few bottom P5 bowls may open up for G5.

Correct me if I am wrong, but earlier this year didn't the SEC designate Army as a P-5 school?

That's not enough schools for them to create a separate division. A separate division is where this is eventually going to lead. 07-coffee3

Nah, they'll just do away with the 6-win requirement.

Will never ever happen at 64 teams, that is just dumb. 07-coffee3

Correct. Wont happen bc the ACC doesn't want to become the Sun Belt of Division 4.

I mean maybe but I am not so sure. The Big 10 played 12 FCS teams last season so them adding an additional conference game is basically a wash from that stand point. With the exception of Penn State all the other teams played a P5 program last season as well. So I doubt with the additional conference game they are going to run out and schedule another P5 team. I think it is more likely they leave 2 games open to schedule G5's exclusively. I would bet 1 buy game against the MAC for most and then 1 additional game versus probably the American or the Mountain West. Given the strength of schedule I think they would prefer to schedule the top of the G5. Just my thoughts.
