Tax exempt status and direct subsidy are two separate things. Also, subsidizing government and private programs are two separate things. The chain of logic is not compromised.

Improving is a relative word. The government has no legitimate business providing money to a private organization based on one segment of society's opinion of it's value to society as a whole.

The point went over your head. You are essentially saying that some peoples moral standards matter...whereas others don't. We shouldn't get to choose which programs get funding based on personal values. Everyone has a conflicting value.

Take abortion/contraception for example. The conservatives are complaining that they don't want their money being spent on that stuff. However what they don't mention is that those types of programs are a net gain for the tax payers. Paying for contraception is cheaper than paying for the social services cost of a child.

In other words they say "I don't want to pay for what you want...but YOU have to pay for what I want."

PP does not peddle aborted organs for a profit. Any funds raised are for transportation and handling. This has been addressed by both the media and PP themselves. If you continue to hold this viewpoint you are grossly misinformed and need to reevaluate your news sources and personal habits of acquiring information.

The fact that people bandwagon and propagate such information is so incredibly irresponsible. Mind boggling.
