WVU should be in the B1G with Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, Ohio State, ect... or ACC with Syracuse, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Louisville, ect...or even SEC with Kentucky, Tennessee, ect... The Big 12 is a great conference but it's not home.

I wish we could bring back Guidos vs Hillbillies. Along with our annual epic battles versus Louisville, this is the rivalry that Rutgers fans pretty much universally miss the most.

It goes to show that what goes around doesn't always come around, as Maryland was a pill on a lot of expansion matters, and resisted sharing the same conference home with the likes of West Virginia and Penn State. Wouldn't you know, though...there they are, equals with the Nitts.

I'd wager with both hands that if WVU ever did remotely enter the Big Ten conversation, UMD would continue its resistance of the 'Eers. It's fine being a rival, but not peers or equals. Parochial snobbery at its finest.

WVU's name has come up before with B1G and the reception was a hang up the phone type of response.
