(Bad QB, good offensive skill players & new up-tempo HC, but only 4 scholarship DBs - MEM eager to break a 2 game losing streak on national TV)

(Wave return a lot of starters, but not talented enough)

Navy - W
(Close game. Triple-option team with a lot of returners on both sides of the ball and an experienced starting QB)

@Houston - L
(Close game, MEM isn't able to get revenge on the road.)

@Temple - L
(Close game. MEM barely won in Philly last year, only managed to score 16 points. The Owl D should be just as good this year, and Tigers' D won't be)

SMU - W
(Stangs should be better in years to come, but the re-build will take a while. Tigers close the season on Senior Day with a win, desperate to break a 2 game skid.)

Both at home. Win both and I think we have a really good year. Split and it's a decent year. Lose both and it probably turns out to be a bit of a let down.

I always go with we will win a game we are not supposed to and lose one that makes this board explode (see Houston last year).

After we win the conference championship and bowl game, 12-2.

@ Kansas W - will be in Gulf Shores, gonna be tough to find it on TV.

Cincy W - We get a decent crowd despite dropping the BG game.

Ole Miss - Win - 20,00 Black Bear fans go home buzzed, and sad.

@ Tulsa - W - this one bothers me, but still.

Tulane - W - Halloween tailgate. Kids can't wait. They hope you all make up excuses not to come - more candy for them.

Navy - W - we get 40,000 for this one.

@ Houston - L- cause we have to mess up a conference game.

@ Temple - W - because Fuente won't let them wallow in it.

SMU - W - they just aren't very good.

8-4 plus win bowl for 9-4.

10-2 regular season with losses to Ole Miss and at Houston.

This is going be one fun season.

One more prediction: Avery is going to be a monster at LB.

USF was not a good football team last year. We should definitely best them. I'd bet we at least spilt Houston and Temple. Anywhere from 8 to 10 wins, I'll split and say 9-3.

Look for Anthony Miller to have a good year!

I'm thinking 8-4 is definitely a reachable and realistic goal.

I usually have a favorite player on the team and usually they are on the defense. No more bobby mccain, so i need a new favorite. Got my eyes set on jackson dillon going into the season. He played a helluva game vs byu.

Anyone know anything about db dasaughn terry #32? I remember him making a few exciting plays last year.

Dude, we're playing a P5 SEC school that has 4 and 5* talent all over the field. We're not there yet to compete for all 4 quarters. You forget last year. Unfortunately, will be a lost.

That's a no brainer. I would much rather go 10-2 and win the conference.

Put me down on this bet. 10-2 regular 12 and 2 total agreed.

Any where between 6-10 wins depending on which Lynch shows up. If he stays with in the game plan and does not try to do too much we can win 10 again. If we have too many of the Houston type games where he tries to do things he cannot do and turns it over 4 times. Then we could end up at 500.

I don't want to project W 's and L's. I would rather just enjoy the season one game at a time. But, I think y'all are overlooking Navy. Teams that run the triple option are hard to defend and we have not played one recently.

Anyway, I am hoping for a great season.

13-0 and AAC Champs......Believe that....Watch out for this years team i'm telling you guys now, we're better than we were last year and even on Defense we are coming together and those guys played big minutes last year too.....But this years Defense has Big time playmakers who will impact in big ways...Examples Jackson Dillion and Suttles are gonna be nightmares off the edge....Donald Pennington and Crosby are beast up the middle and you add in Mike Edwards and Gentry....Arthur is a lockdown corner from Louisiana and Tyler will force fumbles......Troy is a great secondary coach as is Brent and they are good at not only coaching them up, but getting turnovers from the defense......Great year ahead.....The World Is Ours Memphis....
