Trump is better. Perry is only a little bit stupid and a little bit of a clown. Trump does stupid and clown bigger than the Texas guy.

I wish I was stupid enough to make myself $10 billion.

No ****. I don't get why people keep ripping trump. He's controversial but he's anything but stupid. He knows exactly what he's doing right now and is enjoying every minute of it. I don't think he can win but he can sure as hell point out some glaring issues nobody has the balls to talk about.

He's cost himself a bunch of money and future ways to make money. Basically he wants publicity. He's little different than Jenner and the Kardashians.

Of course, now that Huffington Post has relegated him to the entertainment section, more people will probably read about him!

Dude is worth billions, and advertisers will go slobbering back to him after his presidential run is completed. When you have his net worth, you dont rely upon ways to make money, you invent your own ways to make money.

The Huffington post is not qualified to make a judgement about who a candidate is. They showed how ignorant they are. And in the process, gave Trump even more positive news and made themselves look like fools. The Huff Post ended up getting attacked from both the right and left, and of course, by Trump himself, who called them an over-glorified blog. In the end, it was Trump-1, Huff Post - 0.

And that is what will continue to happen if they try to downplay him. The media is making a huge mistake thinking he is dumb. He is schooling them non-stop. The liberals are giving themselves a chubby by saying Trump is dumb. They've said it so much they believe it. Which is why they continue to get their asses handed to them when they take him on.

I agree that Mark Cuban could be a decent candidate.

he's smarter and they basically both have the same amount of cabbage....

it's always about the cash in the end....

edit: trump's ego is as large as the 'swoop' that covers it....disclaimer: I'm bald 03-wink

Quote:Donald Trump on Thursday fired back at criticism from presidential rival Rick Perry.

The former Texas governor "failed on the border. He should be forced to take an IQ test before being allowed to enter the GOP debate," Trump tweeted Thursday afternoon.

The comment came hours after Perry issued a blistering statement that said Trump was mistaken on border security and only offered "a toxic mix of demagoguery and nonsense."

It was another in a series of jabs between the two candidates, to which Trump countered in another tweet by saying that Perry "doesn't understand what the word demagoguery means."

Trumps popularity is up across the board. I think his shtick plays well in the Midwest. There is a difference between a Midwestern liberal and a SF liberal. There's also the Machiavellian liberal who knows Trump is absolutely positively the best thing for a Democrat candidate in 2016. Go back and read that Republican Autopsy in 2012 and then look at the past two weeks. Dial down on the social issues and incorporate Latinos. How's that working out for you?

then why do you like him.....rhetorical (b/c I know why)

Think he did a good job in Texas. A very difficult state to govern for a myriad of reasons.

He's economically sound, knows how to create jobs. Even though he can't remember what departments he wants to eliminate, I'm glad he would want to. I could name probably 10 I would want eliminated immediately.

The Donald has no filter, though. It's pretty refreshing.

I agree....the donald has no filter....

which lends to his gaining traction and line 1 of sig....

it's much deeper than talking points....

]

I agree.

Like...I don't like Trump....but I like Trump.

^^^This.

Perry is just not a good public speaker. Even Great Grandma Hillary is better than him.

Trump just raising QUESTIONS the general public wants asked! Unfortunately, reporters and media are afraid to ask them without getting slammed on Twitter or looking like a racist.

Why can't we have an open discussion like OLD SCHOOL marriage counseling.

Trump is playing the Ross Perot. Basically an arrogant billionaire in the race to stroke his ego and play comic relief. Only fruitcakes will take them seriously. Unfortunately, there are enough fruitcakes who vote that it could affect the election.
