JMU is absolutely beautiful in the fall.

Going to be a bit weird this fall without a child at JMU!!!

3 in a row would not work for me to start the season, but I plan to be at week 2 and the rest of the home games along with an away game at WMGT. Wish I could swing a weekend in the Dallas area for SMU. No matter what, I am sure that BSKB's menu will be awesome, so I come bearing diet Dr. Pepper.

Morehead State, Lehigh, and Albany shouldn't get anyone overly excited. But it saddens me that even you don't get a little excited about the concept of opening weekend of college football season, tailgating, seeing great JMU friends back on campus, visiting the valley, etc. Regardless of Morehead State or App state, people will be excited about the first week of college football. I will not disagree that the combination of 3 back-to-back-to-back home games plus perceived mediocre opponents will not be anything special for our turnout by week 3, but still. Is it really that bad? No. JMU has opened their schedule with these perceived win/cupcake opponents in week 1 at home at least as long as I've been a fan.

+1 I agree. Look forward to getting back and seeing people. It is the only evening game too, so I will miss a lot of those earlier games because of my kids sports schedule. Besides, I seem to recall Albany not exactly being an easy win.
