I'll take elections any day of the week over "public opinion" of a bunch of poorly informed, poorly educated, easily swayed by emotional appeals, fans of the Cardashions and other similar freak shows. We have enough of that illustrated around here on a daily basis.

Land slides/ shellackings in the past House and Senate elections. More State houses and local positions than at any time in many many decades. So many in fact, that the Dims are at a low in those Offices not seen since prior to WWII. Yep, 75 YEARS or more. Keep winning those public opinion polls!

So good on you guize. You got what is clearly the most important issue of our time to go your way, and now some 3% or so of our populace has the "right" to be as miserable as anyone else, and they took down a flag and stuck it in a Museum instead.
