I don't remember him. It has been a while though.

Hmmm, I don't recall the name.

How is the rebuilding process going? Will Bill Clark stay on or will UAB be forced to find a new HC yet again? I heard it's up in the air as to when exactly yall will be fielding an FBS team again. Give us an update if you can, please.

Clark is still under contract until the end of '16. Scuttlebutt is they're working on a contract extension but nothing official. As I understand it, UAB and CUSA are waiting to hear from the NCAA on when to start. The administration has been as transparent as the old Soviet Union, as usual, so all that is scuttlebutt. The only thing they've said for sure is that returning to FBS status is a priority.

We've apparently added a coach to the staff, so there's that.

Believe he last played in 09. Didn't see a lot of action, but from everything I know about him he is a class act.

The last I had heard he has recently gotten a job at South Dakota I believe. Seems like he's steadily climbed the coaching ladder.


I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

Geeze, what an unnecessary mess this has been for UAB. I mean it would have been bad enough if the evil UA BOT had done this, but to self impose this type of disaster is just a crime. Should have made a decision (one way or the other) and stuck with it, now its like the Blazers are starting over from scratch as a "new program."
