Coaches nearly always hire those they have known or at least are known by someone else whose opinion they respect. Instances where only a resume was received and the coach hired based upon it and an interview are likely unknown. I would trust Clark's judgement in coaches and players based on just the last two years of experience.

He coached D-Line last year.

Let me know when we have a signed Clark contract and the university announces we hired someone.

Things we want to see:
Clark's contract finalized
Other coaches hired
Suitable practice field in place
Construction of offices, meeting rooms, locker rooms and new training facilities begun.

They probably can't be done all at once, but seeing them begun or in process is important.
