Ridnour for Timma
Adrian WojnarowskiVerified account
@WojYahooNBA For Luke Ridnour, the Grizzlies will send Orlando the rights to 2013 second-round pick Janis Timma, league sources tell Yahoo.

RE: Ridnour for Timma
Grizz can waive him before July 10 without penalty. Smells like a trade chip to me

Timma seemed to be Hollinger's boy, surprised he moved him.

Why would the Griz need Ridnour unless something else is coming?
Trevor @tsbarnhill @geoff_calkins Calathes is leaving?

He's clearly leaving. But Beno and Luke? I'm not sure I'm buying it.

RE: Ridnour for Timma
@herringtonnba Keeping in mind that I *know* nothing at this point, this smells like some kind of precursor.
@kevinhfy Grizzlies have a bunch of non-guaranteed guys on the back-end of the roster now. Ridnour, Udrih, Leuer, JaMychal, Russ. Nice trade chips.
@peter_Fleischer I’ve heard some interesting Grizz info the last 48 hours. I’d actually be surprised if their only transaction is No. 25 in the NBA Draft.
@peter_Fleischer I think the Grizz are just beginning a busy 48 hours, and that they could shakeup the roster and/or move draft picks.
@jonrothstein Hearing two UNLV guys --- Rashad Vaughn and Christian Wood --- are both on the short list for the Memphis Grizzlies at 25. Talented duo.

Maybe local sports radio will have something better to talk about than Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis going Dutch now that the Grizzlies are grinding.

Surely we aren't gonna trade beno! He's a great energy guy off the bench. And he's proven.

Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, I like him in a backup role.

He wouldn't be the backup. That would be Beno.

I was more shocked that Jeter was dating her. Damn he can pull some tail.

Appears Beno is on the way out. Grizz can't trade Ridnour with any other players

Doesn't mean that at all. They could keep him if Beno leaves. Most likely he will be bundled in a trade since he has an expiring contract.
