Should we start contacting the NCAA committee who decides on waivers? Start making rational arguments that might plant the idea in their heads? Get this ball moving faster than the speed of snail

Oh God no. A thousand times no. A bunch of fans writing in will only piss them off.

Just like the SACS fiasco.

We need 10,000

Do we know where we are at now? Both from football foundation and UAB sales?

Should be around 5k given how many were sold through the FF.

The FF ticket drive was based on 2016. until the actual year is definite i think people will take their time. That's why we need to go 2106 and make it known ASAP. Strike while the iron is hot. Neither indecision nor confusion is not what we need at this point...

RE: Karle's Korner: Watts on Clark
My concern is that we won't get rid of Pumpkin Head fast enough. He may have been forced into returning the football program, but he is embarrassed, angry and still in charge. He has been turned into the laughing stock of the entire nation, including his peers in academics. This has been personal with him since we yelled obscenities at him when he was leaving football offices after talking to players. You can bet it has become even more personal each and every day until now, especially when he had had to stand there last Friday and admit he screwed up royally, even though he never admitted anything. He is even madder that his chance of being President for quite a few years is gone. He knows that the Trustees will discard him like used Kleenex as sooner or later.

In the meantime Watts is very dangerous. Regardless of what he does from this point forward he knows he is going to get a nice fee for signing a NDA before he heads out the door. I expect he is bent on revenge and he still has the capacity to screw everything up for from delaying the restart of football to handling contact negotiation with Bill Clark in such a manner as to encourage Coach to leave. I think that Watts is like a cornered animal - he has absolutely nothing left to lose and it scares the hell out of me. Our only hope with Watts is that he is delusional enough to think that he can ride out the storm and remain President of UAB.

+1 - He pretty much said he's not going to lift a finger to help football while he's there & in charge so it won't be easy to do anything w/ not much support from admin side of things. How many universities are this dysfunctional? Normally a president would've already been gone in this case, the sooner he is gone the quicker we can move forward

Coach Clark's tweet has me worried:

"If you are going to do it...Be all in! Do it better than has ever been done before. #WTD"

Sounds like Watts & Co. aren't budging on doing anything better than before like actually supporting football facilities.

This is a regular Bill Clark quote that he often says to his players.
