I agree, if he can stay healthy all year, I think he can be a solid contributor on offense. He always seems to have ankle issues though.

It's a one year rental, this is actually low risk.

I accept this reality. In fact, as a midmajor, I think you have to support your roster (prudently) with jucos, transfers from major programs, and the occasional 5th yr. player.

“I talked to him [Jurkin] about coming there,” said Mosquera-Perea, who considered UCLA, UNLV and New Mexico before deciding on ETSU.At Indiana, Hanner Mosquera-Perea got his first substantial playing time as a junior. He started 22 games, averaging 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds.“He’s 6-8 and he’s got a 7-4 wing span,”said Mark Adams, Mosquera-Perea’s AAU coach and legal guardian. “He can go up and touch 12-2. I think you’re going to see a lot of athletic ability with him. He’s the nicest kid you’ll ever want to meet. I think the crowd will like him.”

I have posted this before and now again, we need a true PG to get the ball to the wings and the front court guys, plus be able to score at least enough to force the defense to guard all five and not be able to double team our wing shooters. There were games the past season when Rembert/Wilson got only two or three shots, totally unacceptable.

The PG runs the team, no PG results in a bunch of one on one street ball. I've seen enough of that crap.

I think a lot of that has to do with the offense we were running, or lack there of. Petey is a pass first point guard that is extremely quick. I expect him to have a breakout year.

Nice sign, I hope he works out, wish we could get him for more than 1 season.

Is this our last sign for the season? Or do we have another left?

How do you see the numbers working themselves out? Thought we might hear of some transfers after the semester, but nothing has come up yet? Figure 1 or 2 would leave.

Forbes said on the morning monster just now that there are a couple more planned. Could we have lost a player that hasnt been announced?

Every team seems to lose 1 or 2. I am surprised nobody has left yet with a coaching change hell Bartow averaged almost 2 a year. UT brought in Barnes a very proven coach and had some leave.

If I had to choose, I pick Williams and Overstreet, at least that would be the two I would pick to lose.

Williams is one. There is one more for sure, and one waffling. With respect to those players, I don't feel comfortable sharing their names until they tell me I can. I would expect at least 2 more signings.

Thanks for relaying - I suspected Williams. I wish him well. On a personal note, I was really impressed in a few casual exchanges with him.

Like Rod, I suspect Overstreet too mainly because of the entering frontcourt talent. I also wouldn't be surprised if Devin Harris and Banks bolted. Purely speculative.

I would hate to lose either Banks or Harris.

I think Banks getting to play the 4 could flourish.

Devin, (along with A.J. and Desonta) is a stud. I think he could develop into a really solid player and those 3 could form a really tight core, all of them long, lean and athletic and be tough perimeter defenders.

Lester is a senior, a scorer and outside threat, getting him out of the post and back on the wing could help us make up for the points lost with Riley and Rembert.

Petey, he isn't a threat to score but is a good solid ball handler and a senior, I would like to see him stay the course and finish.

I'd say it's Overstreet. I hope not Devin Harris.

After watching youtube highlights of this guy, he will be a human highlight real in the socon.. I'm willing to wager that he will have more SC top 10 plays in his 1 season than any prior Buc has had in their career. The kind of player that fans want to see in person.. great pickup!

My goodness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2okeZsQTJ0

If Jurkin works out, the 2016-17 year could be special: AJ, Jurkin, HMP, and Devin as seniors to go along with Bradford as a JR.. I'd take that starting 5 against anyone in the socon and that's not even considering recruits that Forbes will bring in next year after a full recruiting cycle. All aboard the hype train!!
