College of Faith needs to be removed from the schedule
The College of Faith game will not count towards statistics nor in the record books per this NCAA document.

http://content.ncaa.org/ncaa-media-servi...nition.pdf

It's time for them to be dropped, and another school added.

I think it would be more entertaining to watch clowns play football.

Just wondering if there is any effort being made to find a different opponent for that last game.

I did notice that both Limestone and Tusculum were not scheduled that weekend, and that's just the first two I checked.

I would think most lower division teams will hope to be playing in their playoffs at that point in the season. I believe the schedule originally had just 10 games and Montana St. was added to make 11. Even though it means losing a home game I would personally rather drop to 10 games and be done with College of Faith.

Let's have faith that the college (ETSU) will fix it.

Agree with 07 and 66. I didn't realize that we actually had 11 games on the schedule. 01-wingedeagle

You never know, their may be someone looking to fill in one game. Tusculum most likely won't be a playoff team this year in D-2, so if ETSU wanted to they could sell it as kind of a bowl game to the Pioneers.
And honestly, aren't all these this year exhibitions? I mean there's no eligibility for playoffs or a conference title...

The Bucs are scheduled to play host to the College of Faith on Nov. 21, but that school was on a list of what the NCAA is calling “non-countable opponents.” Bucs looking to terminate contract. - from the JC Press http://ow.ly/NNrDg

Looks like this report might be the end for many of these football programs. They aren't going to find anyone willing to play them.

Could we get Austin Peay to come up here since their open? They had 12 games last year and had 1 win.05-stirthepot

RE: College of Faith needs to be removed from the schedule
A lot of schools in NAIA, NCCAA, and D1 all the way down to D3. This is for all sports. NCAA threw in some JC schools that should not have been schedule. These schools should have checked the schools like College of Faith or University of the Gods Chosen Disciples and so forth. Some of these schools could be fraud.

I heard Bobby on the Sports Monster going over some schedules the other morning trying to find a replacement. None available on that date , but if ETSU was willing to give up October 24th open date , Carson Newman and Lenoir Rhyne both have open dates then , if you could get one to come to Johnson City to play you.

Alderson Broaddas is a D-II independent from WV that is scheduled to play at another non-counter UVa-Lynchburg. If we could get them to drop that game, we both have the 21st as an open date.

Playing Carson Newman would bring in more area interest though wouldn't you think

CN doesn't have an open date that weekend. They are at Wingate.

LR doesn't either. They are at Mars Hill.

ETSU is at Montana State that weekend. Either Bobby has no clue, or you posted the wrong date.

RE: College of Faith needs to be removed from the schedule
I been keeping up on these schools when the College of Faith -Memphis came out in 2012 and Cole College. I called them suspicious schools from the start. I did asked someone from one of those sports sites about how to get a hold of the NCAA about these schools that could be a sham. I guess someone caught it and may have sent the NCAA a note about them. I sent the NCAA an email lately that University of Faith -Oklahoma and Amerivets United Career College was supposed to start sports this fall. Have not heard back from the. Faith schools are trying to get one open in Texas and Louisiana as well.
