AAC Digital Network
I just watched the Tulane U Conn game on the AAC Digital Network video HD and audio. It was better coverage than CBS Sports with NO commercials. Thanks you Aresco. . Keep it up..

Watched the ecu game, very good coverage, but the score box updated really slowly on screen, the guy must have been day dreaming or something. Lol

RE: AAC Video Network
The quality of the digital network is pretty good. The issue is the miniscule number of broadcasts. We have an entire season of softball, soccer, Lacross, and baseball with virtualy no coverage beyond the end of season tournament. There is no excuse for that. This conference needs to separate itself from the rest of the G5 and our Digital Network is one way to that.

Those sports are expensive to produce with only 100 people watching

The ECU-UCF game today was the most watched event in the short history of the American Digital Network. Thanks to the #PirateNation.

Yeah, during the B7 I turned it on for a second, and saw the game tracker thing had 3-1 UCF, but the screen had 2-1. I figured the gametracker glitched because it had two Vasquez's scoring on the same play.

Actually, it wouldn't, ECU has on demand and most sporting events at home are already broadcasted in HD, the conference could just carry the home team's feed, until viewership/monthly subscribers is high enough to warrant more.

Should be a great game Thursday Tulane v East Carolina. We had a long history rivalry in CUSA in the past.

THIS^^^^^^
Plus production costs for these other events do not have to be high at all with todays technology (especially if you utilize the home production facilities/equipment/personnel of the member schools). Every broadcast doesn't have to be ESPN quality with aerial shots from a blimp. Faced with a slightly lower production quality or no production at all, guess which one most fans would prefer. Most schools are producing perfectly acceptable baseball broadcasts for very little---plus I suspect most schools would be wiling to upgrade equipment over time if it resulted in more broadcasts of their smaller non-revenue sports. Giving mom and dad an avenue to see their child compete is a huge recruiting advantage.

But, one thing that might make video look so is the ball park. It is minor league park, but also the spring home of Phillies. So it has the most update tech and board casting ability.

Yep, ECU is getting ready to do some work our baseball stadium, including connection to fiber optic net work. New scoreboard is in the works (needed), but not right away. All our other facilities are on the fiber optic network and can broadcast in full HD.

Every game involving ECU has set records for the digital network. Now we know for sure it's because of ECU viewership.

The Digital Network is only for baseball, yes?
I'd rather this than ESPN 3.

Must be because of ECU's extensive "virtual bowl" experience.

Or the fact we are the flagship and have a national fanbase
