Memphis is blessed to have lots and lots of jobs...with more coming: Bass Pro's Pyramid (680 jobs)...Targets online fulfillment center (400 jobs)...IKEA (225)

You forgot Smith And Nephews, they make orthopedic parts, and I worked there when I lived in Memphis after graduating from Memphis State. Those are a lot of jobs, but not a lot of engineering jobs unfortunately. And, I have tried getting an engineering job there a few years back, but the companies still pay low wages. In fact, it was the same wages I worked for when I was an engineer in Memphis 20+ years ago.
