I love how they say they don't want all the schools to have redundant programs, yet UAB, UAT, and UAH all have nursing schools.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm a USA grad so I used the term "your representatives".

You are dead right. The Trustees love to say that UA, UAH, and UAB are all part of the same family, and of course they love all their children equally. I'm quite certain that if their actual financial contributions, both to athletics and academics, were pulled up they would tell a completely different story.

I know that the Trustees were all sent UAB's form to donate to bringing back football. I doubt most sincerely that any of them gave a dime.

Well, we could get somebody to query the Capital Campaign donation list and see how many of em and how much they have 'pledged' for that general fund for UAB. That would be a decent gauge of how much they "love" UAB as a whole.

UAB and UA are in the same congressional district.

That's an accident of the 2010 gerrymander. FN is correct per the Board's website:

The Constitution of the State of Alabama provides that the Board is composed of three members from the Congressional district in which the Tuscaloosa campus is located and two members from each of the other six Congressional districts.
