Just exceptional and what you need by your Senior studs to open up a huge road series. Lead by example.

Stephens and Ditman are both juniors.

Juniors in terms of eligibility, but both will be graduating next week as Rice seniors.

RE: Rice@FlatLantic-FRIDAY-GameThread-HOO?!
Given FAU's great patience at the plate and the ability to generate walks, Stephens and Ditty did what they had to do-- throw strikes. Just one walk and one HBP while FAU struck out a season-high 12 times. We really need McCanna-Orewiler-Otto to follow this recipe for success this afternoon.

FAU still has a ton of pitching left, including four other quality, left-handed relievers. Let's jump on FAU's returning staff ace, Drew Jackson (low-to-mid 90s heater, with a wipeout slider), before he has time to settle in and regain his form.
