Heck, maybe I am the only one who did contribute actual money.

I paid $75 for a deposit on 3 season tickets with my VISA via PayPal. That's real money in hand... somewhere.

Same here...

There was no PayPal account involved. I understand that the administration threatened the foundation leaders with legal action for requesting UAB season ticket pledges without authorization from the UAB so they had to shut the effort down. That was just another attempt by Watts and company to put a stick in the spokes of anything designed to bring back football.

I most definitely put down 25% for season tickets.

Same here.

Did any of you get charged for it?
Have any of you received a credit for the same amount

I paid a $50 deposit for two season tickets. i elected in the case there was no football the money go to the foundation.

Same here. Maybe some chose that option and forgot. If you are upset then address Justin Craft.

Well, if that real money was involved, and it appears that it was, I would trust Justin and other leaders in the foundation with far more than my money. In addition, none of those folks need our money; they have plenty of their own.

I can't say this enough. What you guys have done in less than half a year is absolutely amazing. I hope you run every single one of those crooked S.O.B.s out of town, get a stadium, and be competitive. To hell with Legion Field, if that wormy little white speck on top of chicken poop Cub thinks it needs a tenant, then Alabama can play a couple of games a year there.
Birmingham and UAB need a stadium, and a damn good one. Grow the program, grow the bowl, grow the city.

Exactly, and don't EVER settle for less. "GET A STADIUM and BE COMPETITIVE". I, too, am tired of the nonsense.

Here was the letter where Justin said you will be refunded if Watts wins again

Quote:Your investment in the return of UAB football will be safely kept by the UAB Football Foundation until the future of the UAB football program is decided in the coming weeks. As promised, if there is not a commitment to bringing back Blazer football in 2016, your deposit will be returned to you.
