Quote:We do a dream run, we should be top 30 minimum.

A dream run beating Everyone? Beating MSU, @OSU, @NIU, @Toledo, @GA-Southern, and BGSU -- along with a very possibly improved BSU along with improved @Ohio? I would think we'd be around Top 10 in the nation! :)

Okay, okay... losing to MSU & @OSU, but beating everyone else? Yes. We would. Especially if we beat @GA-Southern who goes 8+ wins and 1st or 2nd place in Sun Belt... and beat BGSU twice to win MACC. Going 11-2, only losing to MSU & @OSU? We'd be in the Top 25. I'm HIV POSITIVE we would! :)

Quote:Was just reading where Ohio State beat Wisconsin 59-0 with their 3rd string QB. Now that's a team. No shame to lose that one by 49 plus.

True, but Wisconsin was Reeling from their coach bolting. That was a huge punch in the stomach. One would have expected them to lose solidly. Although not by That much, but then again, it was a wacky situation. And that 3rd string freshman QB won the national championship, too lol

Wow. #32 WKU, huh? Well, to be fair, I figured they're a sleeper in CUSA this year. I think this year is going to determine how good they'll actually establish themselves as, as they are on-their-way-up sorta team.

Some fantastic down home style coeds in the Western Kentucky area. That's gotta be worth 15 places right there. Like you put it, up and coming team.

And now at #31, ????

AND us going down there to play in their house. Yikes. I will say it's good we hit them early, given that we played an option-running team at the end of last year + GA-Southern is going to be making adjustments due to lost men.

Man, only 6 steps away from the Top 25 though, as a prediction!

Ahhhhhh, there's NIU. I can see that as a fair ranking, since NIU will be improved from last year's transitional year.

Actually I don't think it's that bad. NIU had a down year last year (and lucked out) -- this year's going to be better for them. Being in the pre-season Top 30 isn't super-far-fetched for a MAC Dominating team that's better than the year before.

A "MAC dominating" team that lost to CMU by 17 and beat Kent by 3, Miami by 10, EMU by 11...and got totally exposed in their bowl game. NIU are top dawgs for now, but let's not pretend that they are in a tier above the rest of the MAC. And they're certainly not 50 spots better than WMU, as this list indicates.

I meant MAC Dominating over the years, Not within the year in the sense of dominating everyone else game-to-game! :)

To clarify, they're MAC Dominating as in dominating the West year-after-year by winning it (and MAC Championship too a lot of the time).

They still beat us in Waldo (nice collapse by us, but still) -- and beat Toledo (yes, injured QB situation, but still) -- and went to 11W. Like I said "(and lucked out)". But that's what teams who have dominated the conference will do -- they'll have the wind at their back in a rebuilding year and still pull wins out of their a$$ses. :) They still stomped BGSU in the MAC Champ game and beat Northwestern, though.
