CSS isn't going to draw from the same accounting practices and my understanding is that they have full access to the numbers. This data is from the 2012-2013 academic year, but it is incredibly telling of where UAB actually stands when it comes to university subsidies compared to other D-I schools... http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances/
