Did Adam have a navel?

Probably not.

At least logically you would think they didn't. lol

Then again God jumped strait to manhood, so maybe he did give Adam and Eve a navel. Maybe they didn't have them though and this was a mark and proof that they were the first 2 people ever made to the rest of the world (at that time).

Was Eve even the first woman?

Biblically speaking, yes

Isnt there a percieved contradiction in Genesis 1 and 2 about Eve? It first says Adam and Eve were created from the earth....and then later it says Eve was created from Adams rib. I think this is where the Lilith got inserted into the conversation in Jewish apocryphal texts. Supposedly she was the first and refused to submit to Adam(first feminist). It could also simply be a mistranslation and not a contradiction and Lilith simply a fabrication of the scholars of the time to try and explain the contradiction.

RE: Any Scientology members on the forum?
I know I'm sort of getting in here after the hullabaloo, but I don't think many people realize just how much of a history Scientology has doing things like are outlined in the Documentary. In all actuality, the claims they made in the documentary are pretty tame, because HBO was very careful to make sure they have cause to make any claim they did to head off any lawsuit before it started.

For instance, Scientology was responsible for what some claim is the "single largest infiltration of the United States government in history", known as Operation Snow White. That little plan "included a series of infiltrations and thefts from 136 government agencies, foreign embassies and consulates, as well as private organizations critical of Scientology, carried out by Church members, in more than 30 countries". And lest you think that is just journalistic exaggeration, Mrs. Hubbard herself, along with 10 other highly ranking members of the Scientology leadership, "pleaded guilty or were convicted in federal court of obstructing justice, burglary of government offices, and theft of documents and government property."

It also exposed another plot they had, known as Operation Freakout, in which the FBI found out that Scientology conspired to have a journalist, who was critical of Scientology, institutionalized. They settled that case, out of court, but here was their plan -

Quote:First, a woman was to imitate Paulette Cooper's voice and make telephone threats to Arab consulates in New York.
Second, a threatening letter was to be mailed to an Arab consulate in such a fashion that it would appear to have been done by Paulette Cooper (who is Jewish).
Third, a Scientologist volunteer was to impersonate Paulette Cooper at a laundromat and threaten the current president Gerald Ford and then Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. A second Scientologist would thereafter inform the FBI of the threat.[5]

Their infiltration of the US government pales in comparison to the infiltration by the commies and the gays. 03-wink

but so is believing a burning bush can speak to people...or a man can part a sea...or turning water to wine.

so are the mormons with "kolob"

so are the muslims with 72 virgins and rivers of honey

religion = varying degrees of Jonestown.

The difference is, Scientology was founded based on LRH's desire to not pay taxes ever.. I don't think Jesus had it in mind that he didn't want places of worship built in his name to be tax exempt. LRH played the game. The new CEO of the "church" figured out how to play on the IRS and get the tax exemption.

LRH wanted an unending supply of money and 'followers'

Thus why you have to pay for the auditing and moving through the levels...then you have the sea org and such.
